Windows Hyper-V Server 2008 R2 with SBS 2008 running as guest

Hi All,

I am interested in running Windows Hyper-V Server 2008 R2 with SBS
2008 premium running as guest. Is this possible? From what I
gather...yes.

So on my test box, I installed Windows Hyper-V Server 2008 R2...and on
the config screen, option 1 is Domain/Workgroup. Question is, do I
just keep Hyper-V as a WORKGROUP until after I add the SBS 2008
premium software as a guest? And after I add the SBS 2008 premium
software as a guest, do I join Hyper-V to the SBS domain?

Very confused here...or not even sure if this is possible or will
cause stability issues. Anyone's insight to this configuration, as
well as other Hyper-V with SBS 2008 premium best practices would be
greatly appreciated. Thank you.

Leave the Hyper-V host in a workgroup, do not make it a DC nor join it to
the SBS 08 domain.

There is an entire section in the SBS 2008 Technet library on using Hyper-V
with SBS 2008.
