WINDOWS LIVE MAIL 0x800CCCOF
I have used Live Mail for say a year pulling without any problem 3 different
yahoo.co.uk email addresses. Recently I keep getting intermittently this
error. 0x800CCCOF
Sometimes on one account sometimes on 2 sometimes on all three yahoo.co.uk.
I do not gett this error when only synchronizing (send/receive) talktalk.net
e mail address.
If I patiently synchronize (send/receive) several times I will eventually be
able to
get the messages but it can take many attempts over say 15 minutes. So it is
irritating and feels somewhat unreliable. I use the paying version of AVG and
have disabled the Email scanner , as suggested by some in the group. It makes
no difference.
I have also looked into tools>"safety options">security>digital Id (there is
none). So both above possibilities have not offered a cure.
Any other suggestions ? Thanks. Roget

That's not the complete error message.
Right-click on your error message, copy, then paste it into a reply here.
We can't do much troubleshooting without the complete error message.

The complete error message verbatim would be very helpful.

I do no hesitate in suggesting that you remover AVG completely and then do
a custom installation, opting out of e-mail scanning when it is offered.
For many AV programs, simply disabling it is not good enough and that is
well known for AVG.

I also strongly suggest that you do not take the well intentioned advice
from Bob Campbell. Registry cleaners are more likely to screw up a
computer than to be of any help.

Intermittent errors are most often on the server.
