windows Live mail - data files location

#1
Hi,
I had to install a new copy of windos Vista.
I have now a new folder: C:\Windows.old - which contain's all the data I had
on my old Windows Vista.
Now I am trying to import all the mail setings and messages to my Outlook.
1. What is the name and location of the file that contain's the Windows Live
Mail data (contact, settings and messages)?
2. How can I import it to my Outlook?

your reply would be apreciated.

I can answer the first part of your question.
The old WLM message store is under
Windows.old\Users\username\AppData\Local\Microsoft\Windows Mail\.
You will find your messages and contacts there, but the settings are in the
old registry which I don't think is accessible.
