Hello,

how is the correct configuration for Windows Live Mail, if I want to
send a HTML eMail.

A eMail for News with Courier New 10pt ?

Only if, I use Format - Normal
- Format
- Overhead1
......
my partner receive the mail correct.
But for me it is not possible to make a global configuration, or?
It is also not possible to say, what ist Format, for example Arial 10pt, or?

Regards
Ulrike

Sounds like you are selecting STYLE form the Format menu. I'd avoid
that.

In Tools, Options, Compose, you can set default font settings.

Also while composing, you can select the desire font from the tool bar
at the top of the compose window, or highlight the desired text and then
select the font you want for the highlighted text.

OK. Sorry I like it HTML Mails.
Why not?

So I think it is not possible to define formats for style similar as in
Word 2003.

What I described was using HTML format. You can't do any formatting
unless you use HTML.

Using Styles is optional with HTML. If you want to use Styles, perhaps
someone with more experience with them can help you.
