Hi Arakai,

You can download the default Start menu shortcuts from this site below and copy them back to your the C:\ProgramData\Microsoft\Windows\Start Menu\Programs folder.

Restore the default Start menu shortcuts

Hope this helps you,

Hey Brink,

When you open the start menu, a list of recently used programs is shown. You can then click on 'All programs' to show the actual menu of your programs. How can I get this menu to be open by default, i.e. I want that when I click the start menu, the menu of programs is shows immediately and not the list of recently used programs.

Thank you,
Laurens,

Hi Laurens, and welcome to Vista Forums.

Sorry, but there is no way to have the Start Menu open with All Programs already opened as far as I know. :(
