How to Uninstall a Windows Update in Vista
This will show you a how to uninstall a Windows Update from a list of successfully installed Windows Updates in Programs and Features.
- Once you uninstall a Windows Update, you will probably want to hide it to prevent it from showing up in the available updates again. See the related link below.

- Hotfixes will not be listed here, and cannot be uninstalled.
- You should look for the Windows Update KB number to make it easier to find the one you want to uninstall. You can compare them with the View update history list in Windows Update.
Open the Control Panel. (Classic View)
NOTE: You can also open the Start Menu, then type appwiz.cpl in the search line and press enter to open the View Installed Updates window in Program and Features
