HELP! I can't apply updates

So I just finished installing a brand new OS and I went to download the first 77 updates before service pack 1 and 2. Something went seriously wrong during this at 92% of the install.

The power to the whole house went out shutting off the PC
When the power came back on I tried to update again, but I get this as a result anytime I try to update now....

Please help.

Maybe it is easiest to start from scratch with installing the OS, or is there a special reason not doing this?

As I remember it, SP1 contains all previous updates, though I think perhaps there are something like 3 or 4 or so you might need to install first.

You say SP2, what OS are you referring to?

I went ahead and reinstalled, because once this problem occured none of my programs were showing up in control panel. Also the av was acting weird crashing on a netio.sys error everytime I tried to open imageshack.us to upload the 3 pics for the problems I was having.

get this as a result anytime I try to update now....
There was supposed to be 3 pictures uploaded after this, but each time I went to the page got a netio.sys bsod. complete crash.

Windows Vista Service Pack 2 RC
The RC Client is out

vista sp2 download - Google Search=

Download Windows Vista Service Pack 2 RC

Please answer this for me.
Why do I always have to install these even before I can launch SP1

My post is not showing up for some reason - Mods please check it as it contains an image to explain the 77 updates to the one who said SP1 had them all.

I can never even install SP1 until I have these 77 updates first

I would have, but see post #4.
I just reinstalled my whole os for the second time today.

I sort of rushed it though which worries me
You see I normally install nvidia nforce 15.25 (reboot), realtek 2.19 HD Audio (reboot), nvidia forceware 182.08 (reboot), XFI 2.18.008 (reboot), XFI Control Panel (reboot), free download manager, and XFI Alchemy (reboot)

From there I quickly install adobe acrobat reader for pdf's and flash player 10 for web content. Then I do my web updates

Should I be concerned about installing them all on one restart?

This time around I installed them all one after another then rebooted only once which makes me wonder about conflicts.

I would install Vista and then go straight to SP1 without doing anything else. Forget the 77 updates. If you try to install them, they will cause more problems than you need. If SP1 will not install, try How to obtain the latest version of the Windows Update Agent to help manage updates on a computer. If you still have problems, try Description of the System Update Readiness Tool for Windows Vista and for Windows Server 2008. Neither would I install drivers from Windows update. Go to manufacturers sites and get lates drivers from there.
