New face for Windows Update

Power User
Windows Update now have a new interface,better looking and more helpful.
Now you can also use the shift button to choose multiple updates to hide.
Just try to update your windows and after a small install you will have the new windows update interface.

Pretty much I went to check for updates, it said only one was found: To install further updates, Windows update must install. To install it will close and open again. Something to that effect. Looks like downloading a normal update.

For me more than 30 updates,(Not included the languages list).
i believe is depends what you have installed on ur pc.
Microsoft office,silverlight etc.

HI JMH, I got it two days ago and im in New Zealand. Same as with "To receive further updates Windows needs to install etc."

I needed to shut down my Vista system.
Upon rebooting, I got the usual do not shut dowm updating OS, Stage 1 of 3 message.

Upon rebooting, I see that MSFT silently installed on 3 Oct 2009:

Windows Update agent 7.4.7600.226

But never asked me to reboot.

I do a manual Update check each day at start-up, and received Windows Update Agent 7.4.7600.226 at about 2200hrs GMT Sat 03Oct09 [ 8am Local Queensland Aus., Sun 04Oct09].

As far as appearance is concerned, nothing unusual to report;
