From how many days are you facing this issue?

any changes that you made before this happened?

The above links has the steps for this issue perform the steps and check what happens.

My Computer

I've tried those troubleshoots and they didn't work or I don't have the DVD

I done the windows clean thing and windows readiness tool and still I can't seem to be able to fix it..

This has been happening for 2-5 days now.

Could anyone check my log and see if there's anything wrong with it thanks

You had cause :) (I spend most of my time solving Win7 WGA problems, and it's easy to get stuck in the rut!)

Do you have either a DVD burner, or a 4GB+ USB memory stick to hand? (if so, which?)

If you have neither, then you are going to have major problems, since Vista is too big to fit on either a CD or a 2GB stick.

What is the exact make and model of your machine?

That machine originally shipped with a built-in DVD writer - is that broken, or what?

I think I lost the DVD

What do you mean by DVD writer?

If its that opens when you press the rectangular button then yes I do have it.

Please read your manual and familiarise yourself with your machine.
You will need at least one (but get 5) DVD+R writable disks.

Go to Windows Vista Direct Download Links
and read the instructions on how to create the disc from the downloads

Assuming you want English Vista, download the following files
Windows Vista Ultimate x86 SP1English (USA)X14-63452.exe
boot.wim
install.wim

yothen follow the instructions to create the ISO, and then burn it.
Then follow the instructions on the http://www.vistax64.com/tutorials/88236-repair-install-vista.html page to do the repair.

I really cannot make it any simpler - if you feel unable to do it, then I suggest that you ask a friend for assistance.

Realistically, no.
(why do you think our man from Dell hasn't shown his face again?)
The only other sensible alternate is to reformat and reinstall

I charge £25-35.... the nearby chainstores (which I would suggest you avoid) tend to charge £50 just to look at a machine. What charges are in your area is anyone's guess.
