Solved Error code 8024402f?

Just updated to Windows vista 32bit sp2 successfully and then did a update search which pulled in Windows
Update Agent 7.6.7600.256. which installed successfully.
Then did another search for updates and i keep getting the error code 8024402f.
Did find a microsoft fix it file but i can't open it to run it.The file is a DIAGCAB FILE.
Grateful for any help with this problem.

UPDATE:Just found a fix that was posted by forum member "bosaif" who discovered it from "Neroliqerzid".
I can confirm this fix works for Windows vista 32bit,and here it is.

Win 7 (Works with Vista?)
START MENU-> CONTROL PANEL->NETWORK AND INTERNET->NETWORK AND SHARING CENTER->CHANGE ADAPTER SETTINGS->LOCAL AREA CONNECTION (RIGHT CLICK THE ONE YOU USE TO CONNECT TO THE NET AND CLICK PROPERTIES)->CLICK INTERNET PROTOCOL VERSION 4 (TCP/IPv4) {CLICK PROPERTIES}->ADD THESE DNS SETTINGS
PREFERRED 4.2.2.1
ALTERNATE 4.2.2.2

AFTERWARDS...
BACK TRACK TO NETWORK AND INTERNET->INTERNET OPTIONS->SECURITY {TAB}->TRUSTED SITES {ZONE}-> CLICK "SITES"
//\\OPTIONAL//\\ {TICK OFF (UNCHECK) "REQUIRE SERVER VERIFICATION (HTTPS

FOR ALL SITES IN ZONE"} //\\OPTIONAL//\\
ADD THESE

[url]HTTPS://*.UPDATE.MICROSOFT.COM[/URL]

Now.. Go to WindowsUpdate and check for updates..
