hello everyone merry christmas!

so i just found a stable and very fast 64 bit firefox i am willing to use, but i am having trouble setting it as defasult browser. i've tried the following:

run firefox in admin mode -'check if firefox is default browser' NO 'do you want to make it the default' YES

changing defaults in control panel>default programs

changing the extensions (.http) to use the firefox.exe

changing the registry
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Classes\http\shell\open\command
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Classes\https\shell\open\command
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Classes\FirefoxURL\shell\open\command

nothing working. when i run firefox 'check if firefox is default browser' it always returns with 'not default do you want to set firefox as default'

control panel>programs>default programs>set your default programs

you'll see Firefox...remember to un check -check if firefox is default browser window-
