I got the infamous SP1 error of windows explorer continously restarting itself, and i fixed that through a registry patch for live-care and the K-lite codecs. I then uninstalled K-lite codecs and explorer seems stable, but now i can not open any file browser, e.g click on my computer, go via Internet explorer, click "open file location" on an icon, all of them bring up the appropriate browser location for a few seconds, then explorer crashes. I'm completely clueless to what the problem is. I've tried scanning for viruses, malware, spyware and registry errors, which were all fixed. Does anyone have any insight into this?
