I have an e-mail address that I wish to cease receiving e-mails from. I have clicked "block sender", but it only auto sends the new messages from the sender to the Junk File. I would like to totally block the address so that any messages are completely refused by my system. Any suggestions? TIA FF51

Sorry, but I don't think you can do that. It would have to be rejected by your mail server. You can make a rule to have emails from that address go to the deleted folder or be automatically deleted.

In addition to Gary's post:
The best way to do this IMO would be to add that sender's email address to your blocked senders list on your email provider's (ISP) filter on their website if available. This way messages from that address are blocked and never sent to your computer when you check your email.

That only works if there is such a mechanism available from his email provider. His best bet is to check with his email provider to see if they provide a method to block certain email addresses. If there is Spam and virus service in play, such as Postini, there may be a blocked senders list available there.
Otherwise, Gary's suggestion of adding a filter to the local mail client is the way to go.
