Cannot reach IMDb

Since yesterday, I have been unable to reach IMDb using either Firefox 2.0.0.14 or IE 7. I am also unable to reach Bleeping Computer. I am able to reach IMDb via their numeric IP address and am also able to go to the site using its DNS on my cell phone's browser. Bleeping Computer cannot be reached from either the computer or phone.

I checked my Hosts file and neither site is listed there.

My ISP is XO/Concentric dialup.

For the record, last night I could not reach Google for almost 10 minutes....

Son of a birch, they work now. Neither did this morning. It was just the damndest thing because I could reach IMDb with its IP address and by its DNS with my phone yesterday.

only thing I can think of is that a major DNS server may have gone down / gotten upgraded or something - I never tried either last night (very late night) but I did try to Google something and was shocked to see that Google, of all places, was not connecting.
