Re: Internet Explorer 7 Addressbar BUG

Hi Jeet,

IE7 and Windows Explorer share the same address bar so you can navigate the web or your computer files from either program. It is an attempt to eventually merge the two to just have one to do both functions. You can clear this history for IE7 and Windows Explorer by deleting the IE7 History. This tutorial will show you how to if needed.

Internet Explorer Browsing History

Hope this helps,
Shawn

Re: Internet Explorer 7 Addressbar BUG

Jeet,

As John posted, it was just not a feature in XP for IE6 and Windows Explorer. It is new to Vista for one step closer to a uninversal browser/explorer.

Re: Internet Explorer 7 Addressbar BUG

Sorry, but it is just too integrated in Vista to separate. The only alternative is to use a 3rd party web browser and Windows Explorer alternative instead.

Re: Internet Explorer 7 Addressbar BUG

Mozilla 3.0 is not an application. Firefox 3.0 *is*.

Fx 3 is a lot faster than both IE 6 and IE 7 - even though IE is integrated into the OS. That is just the way it is.

Also, please be careful to type exactly what you mean - because
