There should be a 32bit version on your machine.
Does it just not run or does it not appear?

The path for the 32 bit IE7 is C:\Program Files (x86)\Internet Explorer\iexplore.exe if you wanted to make a shortcut from it.

Does it open the 64 bit IE7 when you click on internet shortcuts or Favorites?

Yer there is a 32bit version in Program Files (x86), however it does not run as default. What Im trying to do is use Windows update for other windows applications. The IE browser then opens in 64bit mode, but update will not work in the 64 bit browswer, so it gives a message to open the 32bit one, but clicking on the button gives me an error, therefore I would like to set the 32 bit ie browser as default in order bypass that.

What error do you get?

Doh!!!! All I had to do was use Reset in IE settings. OMG, what an idiot, LOL>
