Hi everyone,
I am facing this peculiar problem. I can connect to all the chat clients like gtalk or YM. From gtalk, when I click on the new mails icon, I can even go to my gmail. However when I try to access any websites through the browser, I am unable to do so. There is no known trigger for the event. It was allworking absolutely fine till the morning.
I have now unistalled the firewall, antivirus and antispyware. I have also uninstalled Java. Still nothing is working. Can anyone please help me out?

Im having the same problems... Some pages open... But then most of them dont.... I dont know what to do either... Its been 24 hours and nobody has even attempted mine... Good Luck.

Control panel - programs - view installed update - scroll down to Microsoft windows and uninstall security update KB878297 restat computer.
