Vista - spell check not working in my msn mail

I'm unable to use my spell check in my msn mail. I have ms word loaded and
my spell check works fine in that program. I checked my windows mail and
that also checks out. Has anyone else had this problem and if so how did they
fix it

I have this problem too. I came here looking for help too.

I guess I'm not the only one. Have you heard from anyone other then here
how to fix the spell check.

Found this possible solution from another disscussion of this same prob. I don't use MSN so haven't tried it.

Download the following:

I have spent two hour on the phone between verision,MSN and still did not
get a answer. All I had gotten was that there are working on it
and I will hear though my e-mail when it is resolved. It a clich in vista.

I was a little stress out when I was given four different phone numbers and
most of them were recordings. 4 out of 6 calls were just recording I kept call back some of the back until I was able to speak with a person. One person
was no help and the second tried, then gave me the answer. (they are working
on it and I will be notified.) I think that is what is said when they can't help ya.

I will be looking out for my e-mail from version!!

Was unable to find web page. I tried again and it asked if I wanted to save
or open. When I try to open thing on my desk top, it looks like it is download, then
it a post-it comes up saying that file can not be found. What up with than?

That is the link to the actual file and not a web page. Right click on the link and select 'Save target as' (IE) or 'Save link as' (FF). A window should pop up that asks where you want to save. That should do it.

I tried to down load the link, but my norton program is blocking it I think.
I sure not one of those smart cookies when it comes to computers.

Try holding the [SHIFT] key down when you click it - might bypass Norton and allow you to download the file.

I downloaded the spell checker and I am afraid to say it does not work. What I cannot understand though, is that my spell checker was working until last week! Is this when MSN decided it is about time to "fix" the problem?
