cookies disappearing?

    cookies disappearing?

    Why is it I seem to now lose my passwords, every time I start up IE7 I have to log into programs or sites (like Yahoo or Google.) Never seen this before- did I check something by accident?

    Hello Eknirb,

    Did you recently install a 3rd party utility program (ex: CCLeaner) that has the option to clean the IE7 temp file and cookies?

    You might also see if you checked the "Empty Temp IE files folder when browser is closed" option in the IE7 Properties Advanced tab.

    How about any 3rd party utility programs?

    You might also check to make sure that you are checking the "Remember Me" box at log in for the website, and that you have cookies enabled for the website as well.

    nothing has changed--all sites have to be signed into each time.

    I think I mighta found it- Trend Micro was reinstalled and I think I mighta found it. Will report back.
