Hello. Hopefully people here will be able to help me find out the problem and fixing the issue.
For the past week, my internet has timed out. Can't load any webpage (through Firefox or IE), can't update my iTunes podcasts (say's connection has timed out) and my gmail notifier email thing also say's that the connection has timed out.
The only way for me to be able to access the internet again was to have to restart my whole system, but that was making me do it multiple times a day. I had a comcast "tech" come out to replace the modem, thinking since the modem is 4+ years old, it may be on it's last leg and just a simple replace will fix it.
For most of the day yesterday, that seem'd to fix the issue, however late last night, once again my internet timed out. I called the company who built my PC and they said from what I was telling them, that it seem's to be a problem with the ISP. Werid thing is that I can get on Xbox Live even when the internet is timed out on the computer.
I run through a router and it doesn't matter if I have the router hooked up or have the modem directly connected to the computer, still seem's to time out.
Can anyone give me any idea of what is going on?
