IE explorer help needed

Not really sure what to do, searched google but no real answers, hopefully somebody can help on here.
When I use the back button on IE it goes back 2 times instead of just 1. Any ideas how I can correct this?

Try this experiment. Click the bar at the top of your browser that says "Windows Internet Explorer". Click it only once. If it resizes, something's wrong with your mouse. Change the settings in Control Panel>Mouse
