Vista IE64bit & Flash Player Problem

Ok, I just purchased a new Toshiba Laptop, 4 gigs of Ram and a 2gig Duo Core Processor. This is my first Experience with Vista and everything was working fine then my computer did an automatic update and now my flash player won't work. I've read a lot of the Flash Player threads and tried uninstalling it, then going to adobe and re-installing it. But it still isn't working, I keep getting websites telling me that I need to update to "flash player 9 or newer.....etc." It did work one time then the next day it stopped working again.
Can Anybody Help? I am getting to the point that I am "Hating Vista"

Hello My main PC has a ATI READION 4870 x2 two of them, 12 gb Ram (Soon to be 24 gb ram), Rampage Extreme 2 motherboard, Intel Core i7, 5Tb 628 Gb, Vista Ultimate 64, V8 Coller Master. But for some reason or the other I cannot get Gears of war to work on the system, that is the first Gears Of War. I clickk on play game and the screen just goes dark.

On my other PC P5E3 Preminum WiFi motherboard, 8gb of ram 1tb 500gb, I installed the same game but this time the game loads up but them windows tells me that the game will close and it does the Video card is the Nvidia 9800GTS 512MB. Yes I went to Nvidia's site and downloaded the driver still the same problem. On the other PC I went to Redion's and did the same but to no avail.

Flash is not yet supported in x64 browsers.. Use the x86 version of IE or another browser like Firefox, Opera, etc.
