| Vista Home premium | How to reduce Photo file size in Windows Mail Windows Mail does not allow you to reduce the file size before sending an email like Outlook Express did. Does anyone know how I can reduce the photo file size before I attach it to an email? I know this can be done if you select the photo from the gallery and then click on the "email link" but I want to be able to attach photos in an email from several different file sources and have the file sizes be less than 600-700kb each. If attachments are not that small, then most recipients can't open my emails because the attached files are too large for their servers! Anyone have any suggestions? Outlook asked you if you wanted to reduce the picture size and I always did so the photos would go thru. Windows Mail doesn't ask and sends the file in its original size which is always too big! help! |
