I have been using Windows Mail (POP) with Vista (SP1) successfully for
almost a year, and have set up my POP client to leave messages on the
server.
Recently, I found that about 6 days of messages will not download to
my Windows Mail Inbox. [My computer was turned off for most of these 6
days.] The messages ARE on my server [gmail], and I CAN see them from the browser interface, but they stubbornly refuse to download to my Inbox.
New messages ARE arriving into my Inbox just the way that they should, but the six days of messages will not.
I have tried the recent:[email address] suggestion that is found in
the gmail help documentation, but that doesn't work either.
Is there something that I can do to force my Windows Mail POP client to download these messages??
