I have searched everywhere on this forum, every other forum I can find, and Google Search. I cannot find the definitive answer to the problem of "Windows mail not responding"
I have Vista Ultimate on a Dell XPS. I use Norton 360 and since starting my search the only thing I've done is I have turned off email scanning.
There appears to be several people with the Windows mail not responding problem; there has to be an answer and a fix.
Please don't tell me to get rid of Norton unless Norton has been definitely identified as the culprit.
I've seen, several times, to switch to Windows Live Mail. I have 8 POPs account that I monitor.
I've got about 2000 messages in 21 Local folders
