Hello, I just purchased a laptop with Vista Home Premium 64 bit, and my desktop uses XP. Can I export and access all my contacts and messages from my desktop to my laptop? I've tried several times, and can't seem to get it. Thanks!!

Hello supernova, and welcome to the forums.
You should be able to email all the contact information to yourself, or export it to a flash drive. Do you have an iPod touch? If so, you could sync it to those contacts, and export it to the other computer. Someone else here may have a better suggestion, but both of those should work...

I recommend downloading the portableapps suite and trying portable thunderbird for your email. I use it all the time and use my cell phone as the thumb drvie.

That won't necessarily fix the problem here. It would indeed work, but moving a lot of contacts is a pain.
