| Member Join Date: Mar 2007 | cannot stream audio only download Hi, I've found several threads with the same problem, but still no solution. When I click an MP3 link on a webpage which provides the audio file inline for streaming, instead of WMP instantly playing the audio file, while continuing to download the file in the background. Instead the save / open dialog box appears and downloads the file before it will play the audio, which I find very annoying and why I don't use Firefox as a browser. I've tried resetting the 'default programs' and 'auto-play' settings and i've looked in WMP for any settings for streaming as well as IE settings , but cannot find any option to set which will enable the streaming of audio files. Can anyone help? Thanks, 1DMF |
