| vista home premium 32bit | installing firefox question I am currently having problems with the flash player in my internet explorer 7, and can not seem to resolve the problem. I have been advised to switch to firefox as i have been told it is easy to use and auto updates add ons (i am a novice when it comes to technology). Could anyone let me know if i have to do anything to my pc before installing and running it i.e. uninstalling any previous software etc, as i'm a bit nervous about doing it, lol. Thank you |

| Vista Ultimate SP2 x64 : Seven Ultimate x64 | Re: installing firefox question Hi MN, Nope, you don't need to do anything before hand. Simply download it and install it ![]() When you first run it, it will ask you if you wish to import your bookmarks and favourites from IE as well asking to be made the default browser. It's safe to import bookmarks and if you wish to leave IE as the default browser, untick the "make default browser" box. |
