Downloads Folder, where?

Hi,
I cannot locate my Downloads Folder. Where does it usually reside? A friend of my created one with a small "d" but I know the original one begins with a capital "D". Where is the Downloads Folder in Vista? I did a search from the Start button and no results. Thanks!

This is normally setup in the Browser itself...
I create my own.

click the start button,then click your user name.

Thanks, Shawn! Interesting, I went there, and there's only one app shown in the Downloads Folder. I know I downloaded at least 4 things since I bought this brand new computer. Then I went to Firefox and went to Tools>Downloads and there were the four apps. Why do they not agree with each other?

I will call this resolved, but would like to know the answer, if you know. Thanks for the speedy resolution of my request.

You probably accidentally changed it one day when d'laoding something, or if I remember correctly, F/Fox automatically defaults to it's own d'loads folder until you change the location manually. Try d'laoding something but instead of just hitting OK hit Save and then browse to the Users D'laod folder. This will reset the default download location for you but just in case, you should make sure the next time you d'load something that it's going to your User folder..

I will keep the email that gives you instructions, so the next time I download something, I MIGHT remember to do this (better chance if I keep the email reminder) BTW, now where is that "resolved" issue button? I tried to give you a good reputation, but I guess I'm too new to have that allowed just yet

You can also use Advanced Search with non-indexed files included to help you find missing files that you know the name or part of the name to hopefully help find them faster for you.
