I am new to Vista Forum- feeling a little lost... Maybe someone could help me out,:D....Please...
I was looking for a Swedish to English translator on the Internet and Babylon looked promising. It didn't work out but I am stuck with their browser in my tool bar. It has become the default. I can click on it and it closes so that is good- I want to delete completely... Does anyone know how to do this? Sure would appreciate any suggestions..
Thanks,

THanks for the answer back. I went to control panel, saw Babylon listed- did a uninstall and I thought we had it made... Well, it is no longer listed in the programs but it continues to be the default- I click on the E and everything looks like it is working as normal then babylon shows in the tool bar and the screen comes up and says enhanced by google... I have to close babylon to get the Google screen up. Annoying to say the least...
After I did the uninstall I did get a screen that thanked me for trying babylon and asked me what I didn't like about it... I still thought it would disappear. I did a restart even and it is still there..
Any other suggestions...???
Thanks,
CJS

Before you launch IE, search your computer for "babylon" and delete all of it completely. Then run a registry cleaner like ccleaner to clear out any remaining registry entries for babylon. Then reboot, then try launching IE

Thanks again for the added suggestions. I found 5 items attached to Babylon and delteted what I could. I then got this message- giving file information concerning our Maxtor backup- local settings:text folder does not exist- the file may have been moved or delted. Do you want to creat it? I said "NO:.
I am not familiar with registry cleaners- is this a download and how does it work?
Specifically for this problem?
I am still wondering how looking at this one site for a translator attached their browser to my computer...
Thanks - maybe we can get this deleted sooner or later.
