You want Firefox to RIP do exactly what this guys says!!

He's a Senior Editor from C|net and Knows his Sh1t!!

Everything he says makes Great Sense, and if your like me,

you learn best with a Visual, example (vid)

I'm leaning FF very Well now, and it is a Memory HOG!!

But you can fix that, watch this vid do what he say and you'll

be flying!!

Enjoy!! One thing I do is not have FF save your Downloads,

have FF save them to YOUR desktop then you decide which

to keep and which to Ditch, saving a Million Downloads bogs down FF Big time.

IMHO also Go Lean as you can with your Add-On/Extensions, also a Memory HOG.

He is such an expert that he does not even know that Firefox Safe Mode appears in the Vista Start/All Programs/Firefox listing; there's no need to type in the safe mode start-up the way he demonstrates, just use your mouse to get to the appropriate menu entry.

Be very careful about accepting advice from so-called "experts" about how to improve Firefox. For example, here and elsewhere, some of these people advise changing Firefox settings that actually have either no effect or a deleterious effect on Firefox's ability to work.

As for memory use by Firefox, here's the advice that actually makes a difference:

True True..but that little vid is great for new people that have just started using FF, I know it's very Basic. however what the guy says is all true stuff. That link you have there is fine too, it covers a lot, and in much more detail, there's tons of Info about FF on the WWW.

The Vid is just a short intro to using FF is all, nothing more.
