I go into Windows photo viewer, select a photo then click on email. the correct window opens, I select the appropriate photo size and click on attach. The email opens with a title in the header of "Emailing: 001-Unicode (UTF-8)"
After composing the email I click on send and a message in this format appears (This is a message I got off a website as I do not have access to the Vista laptop at the moment)
"The message could not be sent. The authentication setting might not be
correct for your outgoing e-mail [SMTP] server. For help solving this
problem, go to Help, search for "Troubleshoot Windows Mail", and read the
"I'm having problems sending e-mail" section. If you need help determining
the proper server settings, please contact your e-mail service provider.

The rejected e-mail address was '[email protected]'. Subject 'Brochure
Pictures', Account: 'mail.threegservices.com', Server:
'smtp.threegservices.com', Protocol: SMTP, Server Response: '554 5.7.1
<[email protected]>: Recipient address rejected: Access denied', Port: 25,
Secure(SSL): No, Server Error: 554, Error Number: 0x800CCC79"
Emails composed through windows mail with photo attachments of the original size send correctly.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.

One possibility is size of the picture.

'Recipient address rejected' could be the receiving email address has a limit on size, or blocks, pic files sent to it.
