Windows Live Mail In Start Menu

Hi,

For some reason when i installed windows live mail it wont appear in my start menu as default email client. My start menu shows windows live mail, but its basically just a shortcut to hotmail.com with the old logo. When i go to start menu properties and change it it doesnt fix it. Please help.

Re: Windows Live Mail In Start Menu

Hello Joronamo,

In Windows Live Mail, check in Tools on the menu bar (Alt+M) and Options to make sure that you click on both of the Make Default buttons in the General tab. This will replace you default Windows Mail Start Menu shortcuts with Windows Live Mail.

If you alread did this, then you can create a new shortcut from the C:\Program Files\Windows Live\Mail\wlmail.exe folder and move it to the Start Menu to use instead.

Hope this helps,
Shawn
