    Not able to open a particular https site

    Hi,



    I am unable to open a particular https site.
    I have uninstalled antivirus,swiched off windows firewall, Changed internet settings etc.,,,

    Pls, help me.

    I just went there using FireFox and went there again using IE 7. It is the log in screen for Oracle. Are you using some sort of blocking software like for keeping children safe?

    Well, it's definitely a "Protected" site, but it opened OK for me in Firefox 3.0.11 with virtually NO problems.

    I must admit that I was surprised, because I run a very 'tight' computer, with layer upon layer of security protection.

    Recently I've found that I have to disable "HOSTS" in order to get into some sites.
    I use "Hosts Manager" so that's really no big deal.

    There is no child blocking software as such, even my windows user is free from parental control. Any other clues please!!!!

    i just went there and no issue for me. check to see if a port is been blocked.
