Okay, I might actually kill whoever decides these windows updates.
I tried to install SP2 a few days ago from the windows updates. Install failed, for some strange reason, and now I cannot connect to the internet. I've tried wireless, cabled connections, and system restores. Nothing works. I can ping the internet fine, 100% packet return in ~30ms. However, no internet. Can't reupdate windows. Can't update antivirus, run firefox or IE7. Any suggestions?

New Toshiba A355, 1.5mo. old. 4gb RAM, Home Premium 64bit.
