    Closing Browser window without clicking

I am running Vista Home Premium and have IE8 and Firefox.

In the event I get one of those malware popups that you don't want to click on (not even the 'X') how do I get rid of it? Something about right clicking on the taskbar I think or there may be a keystroke shortcut.

    Thanks

I would think a right click on the IE icon on the taskbar would give you the option to close the browser. It does in all other instances I can think of.

If that fails, you can always click "control, alt, delete" and get to the task manager and close it that way.

How silly of me. That is the best answer. I discovered ALT + F4 works as well.

    Thanks
