Can’t send Email over 450KB anything under fine
I have had a successful connection for over a year. Suddenly I can't send anything over 450 KB server time out. I can send anything under that fine. I can receive fine. I get the following message:

Your server has unexpectedly terminated the connection. Possible causes for
this include server problems, network problems, or a long period of
inactivity. Error Number: 0x800CCC0F

There does not appear to be any problem with my server. I can go online and
send from my provider’s site. There is no long period of inactivity and no
apparent network problems. This happen when Bellsouth switch to Yahoo last month

Sounds like your ISP implemented a size limit on your outbound email.

Bobtran is probably right. Are you trying to send the larger file to only one recipient. It might be the recipient who is capped as well. Is there an error message?

and of course you are absolutely correct. Its way too early in the morning. The message doesn't seem to indicate size limit, the way I read it it seems to lean towards timeout. Is this one message you cant send but others over 450K can be sent? I have had situations with mal formes messages where they were only 50K but couldn't be sent no matter what. Try pulling that message out of your e0maiol client and try another of equal size. Also try re-saving this message to see if something corrupted it in the save.

Thanks guys,
I have turn off Norton 360 antivirous, still time out, I have when in under run and config. and enable everything, when in internet options delete cookies history, temp.files, restarted computer still when I tryed to send anything over 450 the mail times out,

This all happen when Bellsouth (ATT) switch to Yahoo mail last month till then could send anything out I received. This is doing it on Vista and XP for I have two differ computers.
I spoke to their (ATT & Yahoo Tec.support) they said its a microsoft problem, below is sample of error:

{Your server has unexpectedly terminated the connection. Possible causes for this include server problems, network problems, or a long period of inactivity. Subject 'Fw: A Fishy Story........', Account: 'pop.att.yahoo.com', Server: 'smtp.att.yahoo.com', Protocol: SMTP, Server Response: '451 timeout (#4.4.4)', Port: 465, Secure(SSL): Yes, Server Error: 451, Error Number: 0x800CCC0F}

This is on any email over 450kb anything under that can be send, when it time out I have to delete the mail from the outbox before I can send any other mail that is small,

Thanks,
Bj

Can you login on yahoo's website and send the mail that way and work?? Or have you not tried that yet?? Cuz if it mails from there site, that only leaves it to be a problem with outlook itself and there new pop mail setup they have.
