Lately I've gone to a website shopbeavervalley.com and everytime I go there it displays in the moble format with just a list of links instead of a standard web page with graphics and everything. At the bottom there is a link to the standard site and I can veiw it but everytime I go to it it always displays the moblie yet at the same time on another computer at my house the website displays correctly. What could be casuing this and how do I fix it? Is this a possible virus or something cause both my avg and windows defender picks up nothing. i tried resetting interent explorer but websit still displays the same.

If you are using IE8 look for an icon at the end of the url to enable compatibility mode. It will look like a page torn in half.

have tried that but still it will only display the mobile page and not the standard works fine on the desktop in my house. does ot have something to do with me using a laptop?

i dont really want to use another broswer i just wanna know what could be causing this because the same time im on that site on my laptop i check it out on my familys desktop and it displays correctly doesnt show just the mobile version.

Have you got all updates? If another browser works it might be IE8.

yes i believe im up to date on updates but it displays right on the other computer which is also using ie 8 so it has to be some up with my computer.

Can you start IE8 with no addons? Choose the option in the start menu.

i disabled all the add on but still it displays the mobile version of the sit and not the standard version. Is this common for laptops? I can click the link on the bottom of the page for the standard version but whenever I click to see the store directory or up coming events it takes me back to the mobile version.

This might be just the website. Are you having any other problems with other websites? If not, its just that site.
