Windows Mail Multiple outgoing addresses....

Hello,

I have a problem with Windows Mail, I have my own domain so can put anything before the @ and they all come to me, which is what I do. When I sign up to web sites I put stuff@ and Facebook is facebook@ and then personal mail goes to keiran@.

However my problem is that I have signed up to a newsletter and the only way to unsubscribe is to send an email back saying unsubscribe, but I'm signed up as stuff@ but all my outgoing email is keiran@.

Can someone help me get multiple something@ outgoing mail options so I can send emails from my stuff@, facebook@ and keiran@?

Many thanks in advance, Keiran.

That's simple enough since you have your own domain name. Just set up mail accounts in your email program for the 3 (fake) names you have which end up in your main domain email account.

Set them up to "not check for incoming or new mail".

Then to unsubscribe, click on the unsubscribe link and then click the down arrow in your "from" box and pick one of the 3 (fake) names you have now created.

Easy enough to do but I need more info. I assume your domain is handled by someone like godaddy, and the mail forwarded from godaddy to you @your real addy.com.

Just need more info I have 8 doamins and have the exact same problem. [email protected]. I use the beginning to say the source like you so if I subscribe to something and they sell my email I know which one to kill or bounce.

Waiting for info

Ken
