    What is the best download manager or accelerator?

    Hi:
    I have a broadband internet with a download speed 128KB/sec. and an upload speed 56KB/sec.
    Please, i want to know what is the best download manager or accelerator for me, and i don't care if it is a freeware or costs $$.

    What do you need a download manager for? There are plenty of free download managers out there, especially for Firefox (which has loads of extensions).

    I don't believe download accelerators really speed up downloads (unless a server is limiting you). Nonetheless, Firefox has those too.

    orbit is another, but accelerators dont do much, upgrade to ADSL2+, cable or fibre for a decent speed

    Just tried Jdownloader and I don't like it. Why not use Firefox? It has two great extensions, Flashgot and then DownloadThemAll.
