    Error 0x800CCC19

    I cannot get into my email on my laptop which has Vista 64bit. Email works fine on any other computer or phone. This is the complete error message I get:

    Account: 'pop.east.cox.net', Server: 'pop.east.cox.net', Protocol: POP3, Port: 110, Secure(SSL): No, Error Number: 0x800CCC19

    Can you help?

    this is one of those times when google really is your friend. I just put in the error and was pointed here I get "Error Number: 0x800CCC19" when sending email - how do I fix it?

    It seems to be a timeout on windows mail when a antivirus is installed you can read aboout it and the sugested fix
