i use yahoo for my home page, every time i bring it up, i get a radio station that starts playing, and i cannot get rid of it. how can i disable or get rid of this annoyance? thank you

Sounds like you've got 2, and possibly 3 separate problems: Yahoo, the radio station, and possibly a virus/worm. Starting with the radio station issue, can you identify which program or app it is, and delete/uninstall it from your system? If so, see what happens after that, when you go to your Yahoo home page.
Then if that doesn't help, you can try to fix them problem by resetting your home page to any other home page, shutting down and re-booting, and then resetting your home page back to Yahoo.
