Since clearing some stuff off my computer I've suddenly found I can't open any attachments. They try to open in Works, which won't allow it. HELP!!:huh:
attachments are opening in WORKS!

Thanks for your reply, Rich. I have restored it back as far as mid November and still no change! I don't know what I've done! It looks like I've somehow selected it to be my attachment reader... even though the system won't allow it!

Oh dear. Just had a message saying the system couldn't restore properly and to try changing my restore point.

Now I think that I understand just what you want.
Type default in search by start button.... Click on default programs....associate a file type with specific program. Then just make the necessary changes to open your attachments. .
