Hi, having an ongoing problem with vista mail. Ive unchecked the the box for not allowing to save or view attachments and still i cannot see them. Ive also tried disabiling my email scanner. Thats all the advice I can find on the net. Also the emails are the right size so im sure they are there. Thanks, Andrew

OK, so now i found out that attachments sent from outlook use a .dat file and windows mail doesnt understand or isnt capable of de-codeing or something like that. Ive tried setting the outlook program to plain text format like whats reccomended on the net, still with no luck. Surely there is a download to make windows mail understand emails sent from outlook. There both made by Microsoft arent they? Ive tried downloading IE8 to get outlook express through windows update, but no outlook express. Anyone?
