After i close IE 7 it closes properly then all of a sudden i get all these IE 7 pages going to my home page if i close them out they just come back until i pull up the task manager and end the IE Task. once i do that the pop ups just stop.

I know i do not have any kind of virus or trojan. This has never happened before. My machine is made for gaming and i do not install anything i do not trust or do not know where it came from.

I Know there isn't any viruses because this is a fresh installed of windows vista home premium 64 bit.

Any Ideas anyone? All answers welcome. I just cant seem to figure out why this is doing it.

Pretty sure it is Virus/malware. Make an A/V scan. Then download this and take another scan. Either way report back and you will get further assistance.

I know that you mentioned that you just installed the OS, but was it a clean install or an upgrade? If it was a clean install, I would tend to agree with you that it is not a virus.

What was used for the install, was it a DVD purchased through normal reatail channels?

AVG antivirus is what i use. My Windows Vista Home Premium x64 is an OEM DVD and legit Purchased from newegg. ccleaner is not reccommended as per microsoft. Microsoft states not to use anything that messes with the registry. I do not trust malwarebytes being it is not in the top 10 AV.

When this happens it's just popping up with my home page.

If you are not prepared to try the things we suggest, i don't see how we can help.
Both Malwarebytes and CCleaner are tried and tested software, used by myself for a long time with no issues. :)

OK,

After you eliminate any possible infections.

The page that pops up is probably the last session that you had, and the page did not close properly try this.

Try closing you last session by going to file on top of page and then exit. As part of the experiment change your home page. If things work out you could always go back. I am just trying to reset everything.
