IE loading difficulties

New Member
I have two laptops, one with Vista Home Basic and one with Premium. After installation of SP2, both computers have same problem. Home page loads very quickly. When typing in an address or clicking on a link, it takes the browser upwards of half an hour to load the page of the new site. IE8. Have Microsoft Security Essentials, Defender, and Malwarebytes. All show no infections. Help!!!!!

Well if all the security tools show no signs of intrusion it could be the browser. IE isn't the greatest browser but we won't get into that. Go to firefox.com if its possible and download the Firefox Web browser and see if that corrects the problem :) hope this helps. If not please post back.
