Dlink DGL-4500 Email logs setup

OK maybe you guys can help me out. I have been using a DGL-4500 with N for over a year now. I have had really good wifi, no real problems. Recently I have become interested in firewall logs and analysis. And have been going to some sites that use the information to gauge the overall health of the internet. Well I would love to set up my router to send my logs via email automatically on a schedule. This is an option with my router but I have yet to get it to work.

So I was wondering if any of you out there have or are doing something similar, heck you might even have the same router.

I have tried: same email to same email, different email to different email, regular SMTP ports, secure ports, with and with out authentication, and I have tried these using comcast and gmail.

When I click on the send email button I do get a message box that states I have sent the email to the email I have entered, but the email is NEVER delivered.
