I suffered a hard drive failure and am in the midst of a complete clean install of Vista 64, Ultimate. (Ask me what I think of Acronis True Image 10 Home. Also, ask me what I think about backups. Finally, I'll tell you why you should TEST your backup strategy.)
I had a little warning about the impending drive failure and I was able to follow some of the EXCELLENT tutorials here to back up my email settings, registry, folders, and old messages. Thank you all for that assistance. I forgot to backup my contacts. (I assumed they'd be carried over.)
My old hard drive still works; there is some corruption, but most functionality remains. I can boot off it if I need to. My machine is setup with AHCI enabled. I want to boot off the NEW hard drive and then connect my old hard drive; using the fresh OS, I want to find the contacts folder and import that data into my current set up. How do I do that?
