Add New Contacts button missing

    Add New Contacts button missing

    Can't add new contact in windows mail. Tried a fix found on an old thread:

    "New Contact" and "New Contact Group" Button Missing



    but could not find "contacts" listed in a drop down list where it was supposed to be.

    Hello Kittens,

    Did you go to the C:\Users\(user name)\Contacts folder (not from Start Menu) to change the folder template to Contacts as outlined in the tutorial?

    Also double check in Default Programs to make sure that Windows Contacts is set as the default program with all of it's association set to it as well.

    TY. Didn't think it mattered which way I went in but it did. My friend standing next to me still doesn't understand that one.

    LOL, yeah I'm not sure why it doesn't just redirect you to the "C:\Users\(user-name)" location from either location you open the folder from either. I'm happy to hear that you got it sorted.
