Problem with Windows Mail (sending)

Just made an account for Windows Mail and keep getting this message: "The connection to the server has failed. Subject 'xxxxxxxxx', Account: 'xxxx', Server: 'smtp.gmail.com', Protocol: SMTP, Port: 25, Secure(SSL): No, Socket Error: 10060, Error Number: 0x800CCC0E"

I have 0 idea what any of that means. I am very stupid when it comes to computers. I was trying to send my friend a video which was a little under 4MB. I'm not able to download or uninstall any programs because I'd get killed for doing it.

If I have typed incorrect information somewhere, can anyone help me out? It would be supremely appreciated.

Go to the website of your email provider to get the correct port numbers, etc. That is almost definately where the problem is, unless your ISP does not allow you to send.

Try to send a small email (not video) and see if it works.
